  This place is unbelievable! They did not live like this in he past! A must see! A pile of rusting junk housed in decrepit old musty buildings that are barely standing . Everything is run down everything. You can have lots of fun here playing the game find something thats not moth eaten rusting or rotting!! The whole place looks like no maintenance has taken place since 1970 ! The staff behave very strangely . There is a man than wonders around the place aimlessly who know less about the place than the town drunk. If you take you old mum there they will go on like a pork chop. Oh she may fall. You simpily must visit it soon before all that's left is a pile of dust!!

  Absolutely wonderful and fascinating collection of old buildings, equipment and memories with tributes to various people of the past. We really enjoyed roaming around for a while, taking photos and exploring the mini world that this small group have put together over many years. The reviews we read really made the place sound like a death trap but it wasn't anything like that, just a nice, old, worn down set of historical buildings. It'd be great if they had more funds to revamp it all and clean things up but it was a great experience still, well worth it. No regrets :) Thank you to the lovely staff for what they've built!

  I'm sure it was a very good display when it opened in 1988, however, needs a huge amount of TLC. Displays not cleaned in I don't know how long. Some very interesting vehicles just being left ro rot. No evidence of any maintenance at all. Very disappointed! Could not recommend.

  Interesting little village with quite an unsorted collection stuff from all ages. Would be better if it was properly maintained. It's still interesting though.
